Description
The RB73 Quercus is a versatile outdoor wood-burning stove with a built-in oven, perfect for both warmth and outdoor cooking. Made from 6mm CorTen steel, it boasts a solid, industrial look while ensuring long-lasting durability. The three-sided glass design provides a stunning view of the flames, creating a cosy atmosphere.
Designed for functionality, the Quercus features a closed steel back with heat-resistant concrete wall bricks for improved insulation. A welded stub on the top plate prevents rainwater from entering, enhancing its weather resistance. Stainless steel bolts on the legs keep the stove elevated, preventing rust stains on your patio.
The built-in oven with a pizza stone allows you to bake delicious pizzas, bread, and other dishes. The top plate heats up, making it ideal for warming food or drinks. Combining warmth, style, and practicality, the Quercus is the ultimate outdoor fireplace for any gathering.

- CorTen Steel Explained
CorTen steel is a weather-resistant steel developed by US Steel. This durable alloy combines iron with copper, silicon, nickel, and chromium, creating a material designed to stand the test of time and the elements.
One of CorTen’s most distinctive features is its brown-orange rust appearance, which isn’t just for looks—it’s functional. Unlike regular steel, CorTen forms a protective oxide layer (rust) that shields the metal beneath from further corrosion. This natural process takes about 2 to 6 months, depending on weather conditions.
Want to speed up the rusting? A simple salt or vinegar solution sprayed onto the surface can help start the process and ensure even colouration or just purchase your RB73 pre-rusted.
Note: If you purchase an RB73 in its original, un-rusted state, don’t worry—it will rust! The natural weathering just hasn’t begun before delivery. Once exposed to the elements, your product will develop its unique, protective rust finish right at home.
